One of my favorite places on earth and a place I have called home is Laughlin Nevada. If you like hot weather this is the place. High temperatures have soared to over 130 degrees, and as an occasional local I’ve noticed they’re always higher than reported. Laughlin is a little casino town off the Colorado River with spectacular views! I have moved here from Nashville about 20 different times.
Laughlin has always been my good luck charm. I would come here over and over because my parents lived in Kingman Arizona. It was a close place to work and make serious cash. After recovering multiple times from music projects in Nashville where producers, managers and label owners would rob me blind and leave me in debt after promises of fame… Laughlin always bailed me out as I worked as a cocktail waitress or bartender.
The town has grown into an Entertainment Powerhouse with Artists performing at the amazing Laughlin Event Center and E Center to name a few venues. I recently caught the wickedly cool KISS concert! Whenever you’re frequenting Laughlin, tip your cocktail waitresses and bartenders… they truly work hard and it’s NOT EASY!! Yes, Laughlin is a great place to be, thanx Mr. Laughlin for your dream and vision….
